AK magazines and single-stack 1911 magazines will NOT work in this pouch.

Important Mounting Information

The Esstac 1+2 GAP KYWI Pouch is specifically designed for belt-mounted applications.

Due to the spacing between its magazine compartments, the GAP configuration does not align with standard MOLLE/PALS webbing.

Belt loops are the recommended mounting option.

WTF straps are not recommended for this configuration because they are not designed for the nonstandard mini-PALS webbing commonly found on belts.

Important: This GAP model is not intended for standard MOLLE/PALS mounting on plate carriers or tactical vests.

Ambidextrous Configuration

This pouch can be configured for either right-handed or left-handed shooters.

To reverse the orientation:

1. Remove the KYWI retention inserts.

2. Turn the pouch around to the desired orientation.

3. Reinstall the KYWI inserts.

Ensure the inserts are properly seated and magazine retention is secure before use.

The 5.56 1+2 GAP side by side kywi is made for STANAG and Double Stack Pistol magazines.

Due to the GAP's in the pouch, it is intended to be used on belts and will not line up with MOLLE/PALS webbing. It is recommended to be used with belt loops, as WTF straps are not designed to be used with non standard "mini" pals webbing found on belts.

Can be used for right handed or left handed shooters. All you have to do is take the kywi's out and turn pouch around and reinsert the kywi's. This pouch is made for AR-15 style magazines.

**AK magazines and single stack 1911 magazines will NOT work in this pouch**
